Moran Road sits just off North Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood, a few minutes from the Veterans Expressway. Suite 101 is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs or elevators between the parking lot and the front desk. Parking is free and on site, which sounds like a small detail until you have tried to find a paid garage before a 9:00 AM appointment.

The location was chosen for what surrounds it. Northdale and Lake Magdalene are a short drive up Dale Mabry. Westchase patients usually come across on Linebaugh or the Veterans Expressway. New Tampa and Tampa Palms run about twenty minutes across Fletcher and Bruce B. Downs. Carrollwood Village, Lutz, and Odessa all fall inside a similar window. If you live in northern Hillsborough County, this is the Ascend office closest to you.

The part that matters most is harder to see from the parking lot. Dr. Jason Saylor, DO practices family medicine at this address, and behavioral health care is offered at the same address. A patient who comes in for an annual physical and mentions that they have not slept properly in four months does not have to go build a second relationship somewhere else. Primary care notes and mental health care sit in one chart, under one practice, with one front desk. Thyroid panels, medication interactions, and blood pressure changes on a new prescription get discussed between people who already share a record instead of through faxed summaries.

A few things are worth saying plainly. Not every Ascend service is delivered in this building. Ketamine sessions are given in person at the Wesley Chapel office, about twenty five minutes north. Child and adolescent psychiatry for Tampa families is seen in person at Wesley Chapel or by Florida telehealth. Psychiatry and therapy follow-ups can often be done by video once you are an established patient, which for a lot of working adults is the difference between keeping an appointment and cancelling it.
